Fits: Standard 22mm flat bars (mountain, hybrid, commuter and e-bike); 5 1/8 inches long. Not for drop bars.
ESI's best seller and the grip we would put on most flat-bar bikes. Pure silicone, no rubber, no latex; ESI calls it the industry's top shock-absorbing grip. 32mm installed diameter, the middle of the three we carry, and ESI recommends it for grip-shift bikes.
60 grams, 5 1/8 inch length, for standard 22mm bars. Slide-on grips; put the included bar plug in first, which is ESI's instruction. ESI notes its Black is a dark charcoal gray and that colors vary from screen to screen. Made in the USA.
Which: Chunky is the default. Extra Chunky for big hands or maximum cushion; Racer's Edge if you like a thin grip or count grams.
Why we carry it: treat silicone grips as a consumable and keep a spare set. Thirteen colors.
