A spray cleaner for the two dirtiest parts of the bike: the brakes and the drivetrain. Spray it on and the formula turns bright red as it picks up oil, brake dust and road grime; SILCA says it works in 3 to 5 minutes. Then rinse well with water. It rinses clean and SILCA says it will not strip wax from paint or a waxed chain.
16 oz pump spray bottle, not an aerosol. Cinnamon scent.
Before you buy: rinse thoroughly and bed the brakes back in afterward with 20 to 30 firm stops. It will not rescue pads that have soaked up oil; those need replacing. SILCA does not recommend it for stripping a new chain before hot waxing.
