Questions before you buy? Ask us; we'll help you pick. Veteran-owned in Sacramento.
Fits: 35, 31.8 and 22.2mm handlebars with the included shims; tool-free bands.
Same bell, tool-free mount. The Timber rings on its own from trail vibration when the lever is on, and goes silent when it is off. This quick release version straps on in seconds, so one bell can move between your mountain bike, gravel bike and the commuter without tools.
The Model Yew! update fixed the old quick release's weak points: wider, grippier EPDM bands that will not spin on the bar or crack in the sun, a narrower body that fits next to bulky brake levers, and a spring-loaded on/off lever that shifts cleanly. Shims included for 35mm, 31.8mm and 22.2mm bars. Every part is modular and replaceable, so a worn cable or clapper is a cheap fix instead of a new bell.
Before you buy: pick this one if you own more than one bike or travel with the bike. If the bell is staying put, the bolt-on version mounts more firmly.
