Fits: Seat tube outside diameters of 28.6, 29.8, 31.8, 34.9, 36.4 and 38.6mm; measure the tube, not the seatpost. Carbon, steel, aluminum and titanium frames. Not older Ibis carbon frames with the curved collar.

A quick release seatpost clamp that does not rattle loose. The lever opens and closes the clamp; a bolt with a bronze bushing sets how tight it gets, so you dial in the tension once and the lever does the same thing every time. For any rider who changes saddle height between the climb and the descent, or who shares a bike.

CNC-machined 6061-T6 aluminum from Wolf Tooth's Burnsville, Minnesota shop, with a stainless bolt and spherical washer. Six sizes: 28.6, 29.8, 31.8, 34.9, 36.4 and 38.6mm, each fitting frames within half a millimeter of nominal. 13.5mm clamp height. 34 to 37.5 grams. Works on carbon, steel, aluminum and titanium frames. Made in the USA.

Sizing: the clamp size is the outside diameter of your seat tube, not the seatpost. Measure the tube with calipers or check the frame spec, and email us the bike model if you are still unsure. Not compatible with older Ibis carbon frames with the curved collar; fine on current Ibis models (Ripley V5, Ripmo V3, DV9 V2, HD6).

Before you buy: set the bolt with a 4mm hex, lever closed, no more than 6 Nm, and grease the inside on a steel or aluminum frame (for carbon, follow the frame maker's instructions). Then forget about it.
