Thousand's helmet for riders ages 11 to 16, for head sizes from 52 to 57 cm. A dial fit system adjusts as your kid's head grows, and a one-hand, no-pinch magnetic fastener closes it. Thousand is based in Los Angeles.
Complies with U.S. CPSC bicycle helmet standard (age 5 and older); certified for CPSC and ASTM standards for cycling, roller skating and skateboarding. Exterior vents and internal cooling channels. Nylon straps. Thousand's PopLock lets you secure the helmet to the bike with your lock. Works with Thousand's magnetic helmet tail light, sold separately.
Why we carry it: it picks up where the Thousand Jr. Kids Helmet (49 to 53 cm) leaves off, with the same dial fit and magnetic fastener.
Sizing: one size, 52 to 57 cm head circumference. Measure just above the eyebrows. For smaller heads, see the Thousand Jr. Kids Helmet.
Care guide: how to clean it and when to replace it.
