Thousand's second-generation magnetic bike lights. The 2.0 fixes what people complained about on the original: a sturdier magnetic mount that locks when the light gets near it, one-button operation, and USB-C charging to full in about two hours. Buy the set, or the front or rear on its own. Designed in Los Angeles, made in China.
Front: 120 lumens solid for 6 hours, 60 lumens eco for 13 hours, 300 lumen daylight flash for 6 hours, 35 lumen eco flash for 36 hours. Rear: 40 lumens solid for 4 hours, 20 lumens eco for 7.5 hours, 105 lumen daylight flash for 4 hours, 12 lumen eco flash for 22 hours. IP54 water and dust resistance. Set includes both lights, handlebar and seatpost mounts and two USB-C cables.
Our take: a be-seen light for city and bike-path riding. 120 lumens is not enough to light a dark road at speed; for that, look at a dedicated headlight.
Before you buy: a few owners report the mount strap breaking; keep the receipt. Colors: Stealth Black, Dayglow Grey. Ships direct from Thousand.
