Questions before you buy? Ask us; we'll help you pick. Veteran-owned in Sacramento.
Fits: 35mm handlebars, with shims for 31.8 and 22.2mm included.
The Timber is the bell you leave on. Flip the lever and the clapper rings freely off trail vibration, so walkers, dogs and other riders hear you coming without you taking a hand off the bar. Flip it back and it is silent. On the American River Parkway or a busy stretch of singletrack, that is the difference between a polite pass and a startled one.
The Model Yew! is Timber's current version: a stronger body, a spring-loaded on/off lever that shifts cleanly, and fully modular parts, so a worn cable or clapper is a cheap replacement instead of a new bell. The hinged clamp fits 35mm bars and ships with shims for 31.8mm and 22.2mm.
Before you buy: if the bell lives on one bike, get this bolt-on version. It clamps tighter than the quick release and will not rotate on rough descents. If you swap between bikes, see the quick release model.
