Not sure which glove? Compare all five winter gloves by temperature.

The warmer version of the knit glove we already carry. Same waterproof membrane, same knit outside, with a merino wool liner in place of the CoolMax one. Showers Pass rates these for 30 to 50 degrees, so this is the pair for mornings in the 30s and 40s, when the Sport glove runs cold.

Three-layer construction around an Artex3D body-mapped membrane. Merino wool liner for warmth and odor resistance. Wear-resistant knit exterior with sock-like stretch. Waterproof to 7,000 mm, breathable to 10,000 g/m2 per day. Silicone prints on the palm and fingers for grip on a wet bar. Touchscreen-compatible fingertips. PFAS-free.

Sizing: S to 2XL in Grey and Coyote, XS to 2XL in Heather Black. Knit, so there is some give. Snug is right; a loose waterproof glove is a cold glove. Showers Pass publishes no XS measurement, so if you are smaller than a Small, email us before you order.

Before you buy: if most of your riding is above 45 degrees, the Cross Point Sport glove is $5 less and runs cooler. Buy this one for mornings in the 30s and 40s, or if your hands run cold.

Which glove for your morning?

Handup ColdEST, $58. Buy it if: your mornings drop below freezing.
Rated: 26 to 38°F. Waterproof: yes, membrane plus synthetic insulation and a silk lining. Feel: the warmest and bulkiest here.

Cross Point Pro Wool, $59. Buy it if: your hands run cold, or your mornings sit in the 30s and 40s.
Rated: 30 to 50°F. Waterproof: yes, membrane plus merino liner. Feel: snug knit.

Handup ColdER Plus, $39. Buy it if: you want waterproof warmth near freezing for less.
Rated: 32 to 44°F. Waterproof: yes, top and palm, two-layer fleece lining. Feel: bulky, less bar feel.

Cross Point Sport, $54. Buy it if: you ride in the rain more than the cold.
Rated: 40 to 65°F. Waterproof: yes, membrane plus wicking liner, runs cooler. Feel: snug knit.

Handup Cold Weather, $34. Buy it if: your mornings are cool and dry and you want to feel the bar.
Rated: 38 to 50°F. Waterproof: no, water resistant (Handup rates it 50%). Fleece top, thin palm. Prints: Lucid Topo, Sunrise Ridge Rider.

Ratings are the makers' own. Below freezing? ColdEST. Cold and wet? Cross Point Pro Wool or ColdER Plus. Rainy but mild? Cross Point Sport. Cool and dry? Cold Weather. On the Cross Point, snug is right: a loose waterproof glove is a cold glove.
