The hardiest of the Cross Point waterproof socks. A merino blend liner inside a waterproof, breathable three-layer build, at mid-calf height (9.5 inches).
Artex3D membrane between a durable knit outer and the liner (39% merino, 39% acrylic, 13% polyester, 7% nylon). Full terry loop cushioning under the whole foot, reinforced heel and toe. PFAS-free.
Sizing: sold in paired sizes, Small/Medium through X-Large/XX-Large, in Moss. Showers Pass says this sock is thicker than the Classic FX, so check that it fits in your shoes. Between sizes, size up.
Before you buy: Showers Pass built this for cold-weather hiking, camping and snow as much as for riding. For a Sacramento winter commute the mid-weight Sport sock is usually enough. Pick the Mountain if your feet run cold, you ride flat pedals in roomy shoes, or you want one sock for the bike and the trail.
